The Juliet CarriageLove and marriage belongs together like a horse and carriage!! It can also be said that love and marriage belongs together like Romeo and Juliet.
The Juliet carriage is very special in the sense that it is indeed an antique carriage that was built in 1929. This carriage was designed by a certain Lord Surrey, hence the name - Surrey Carriage. This antique carriage will add that extra flair to your wedding day or any special occasion. And the horses will add the romantic atmosphere to your special day. Your photographer will capture all these special moments which will make your wedding album unforgettable. Every time you will browse through it you will relive the glamour and fame you experienced on that day. Family and friends will talk long after your wedding day still about how you looked in the horse and carriage. Have a look at all the special decorative effects that you can add to the horse and carriage that will make your wedding day so much more special to you and your guests.
Here the Juliet Carriage is pulled by 2 horses, with lovely feathers on their heads.
On this photo the Juliet Carriage gets pulled by 1 horse. Either way we can accommodate to add that special touch to your wedding or special day.
This carriage look great with midieval, european or royal type themes.
The canopy can also be folded backwards to open the view to the couple sitting at the back. We would normally keep the canopy up when the bride drives towards the church/chapel (symbolising the protection she received from her parents before the wedding) and afterwards we fold it back to be open for everybody to see (symbolising that she is now free and in her husband's protection only).
The Juliet carriage also looks great with different colours of dresses. This photo was taken at a Matric Farewell.
Even in the veld, the Juliet carriage will add some beauty and flair to your photos. When you don't have ideas of what to do in the winter with photos or a nice backdrop, a horse and carriage like this is the answer.
